Mark is a Vice President of Product at Cloudera and is responsible for the Anywhere Cloud Platform and actively contributes to the data lakehouse strategy.

Over the past 15+ years in database product management, Mark was a Principal at Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the Amazon Redshift team, Vice President of Product at Dremio, and, before that, head of the Vertica Product Management team. 

In these roles, he has worked on all phases of product development from idea to GA. His specialties are product & business strategy, go-to-market planning, requirement gathering, beta testing, user experience design, and business model development.

He enjoys working with and building high-performance teams. His interests are in data, databases, advanced analytics, IoT, SaaS, and UI/UX design.
